The Creative Team at Novum Arts keeps busy with many endeavors, including work on a recent year-long project to create the Second Edition of a book on the history of the town of Woodbridge, Connecticut. Sheila McCreven served as Editor for this publication and is also credited with the book’s layout and production work, as well as contributing writing, photography, and research of historic documents and genealogies.
The book ‘Historic Woodbridge – An Historic and Architectural Resource Survey, Second Edition’ was published in February 2015, twenty years after the First Edition made its way to print. It features all new color photos of over 180 historic homes and other buildings taken by Ms. McCreven over a 6 month period, as well as a brand new selection of historic photos of people who called Woodbridge home in the 19th and early-20th century. These images were selected from a collection of more than a dozen albums of photographs belonging to a a prominent family in town and were digitally photographed and cataloged by Ms. McCreven for the Amity & Woodbridge Historical Society. These images will become an important asset for the Historical Society as they are among the first entries in a digital catalog of items in their collection.
